The First 3 Points for GAS III

After the less than rosy start to the season, everyone was already looking forward to the first home game. As mentioned in the last report, good things take time. Fortunately, however, we only needed until the second match day to put a convincing performance on the pitch. After just four minutes, Christopher Schwarz gave the GAS III fan curve a reason to cheer with the 1:0. From that moment on, Christopher Schwarz tasted blood and scored the 2:0 right away in the seventh minute. Only 15 minutes later at a score of 3:0, Christopher Schwarz crowned himself player of the match with his hat trick within 22 minutes!
The attack did an outstanding job and in the 37th minute, Markus Almeroth scored his first goal for the German All Stars to make it 4:0. Only five minutes later Dinh Lai scored in the 42nd minute to make it 5:0, which was also the half-time result.
After the outstanding first half, GAS III started the second half of the match already thinking about the third half. Of course, the AC United team did not miss this and punished the uncoordinated and clumsy play of the German All Stars with two goals within ten minutes. With the score at 5:2, we became more active again and got back into the game.
The resulting frustration of an over-motivated opponent caused him to brutally tackle Christian Kleindienst from behind. When the referee only showed a yellow card for the rough foul, we were not sure if he would have had a red card at all....
GAS III had the rest of the game completely under control, the German All Stars’ offensive was unstoppable and they played out one chance after the other, whereby the insufficient utilization of chances has to be noted. In the end, Sven Israel managed to increase the score to 6:2 in the 88th minute.
To sum up, we gave a good performance and if we play the same way in the future, we can face the next games with confidence.
PS: The effect of the stadium DJ should also not be forgotten: "Der Zug hat keine Bremse".
