Gas Zweite vs. 1TM 6:2

We started very bright with two early goal: Marco slotted a fine cross from Oscar in after two minutes, and Jens scored our second with a hammer from the 16 yard line. Substeuqntly we conrolled the match, attacked 1TM deep in their own half while ensuring superioroty around the ball when defending. After 19 minures Jan was brought down in the box and Heinz took care of the penalty: 3-0 it was. Suddenly we became somewhat lackadaisical, not putting 100% on the pitch anymore and gradually loosing our focus. Just minutes before the end of the first half we therefore conceded an unnecessary penalty which 1TM converted. With a 3-1 lead we went into the break. The halftime talk to regain our focus and tenacity was well heeded by the team as Roman with a fine individual effort and Jens with yet another penalty (once again Jan was brought down) scored our 4th and 5th within the first five minutes of the second half. Cruising home, and missing several good scoring opportunities, we conceded a second but Roman, once again with a fine individual effort, put the final score to German All Stars 6, 1TM 2. Overall a great and confident performance, leading to the 5th win in five matches. MoM was Roman, double goal scorer with a strong performance on the right wing. Thanks to 1TM for a fair match.
